TOSLANKA IN HARMONY WITH "MAHINDA CHINTANAYA"

Tos Lanka has launched a special initiative to recruit youth from the ethnic minorities in the North and the Plantations.

The Company will commence manufacturing in a facility in Jaffna to access the lucrative South Indian Market.

Tos Lanka wins the National Productivity Award for

Tos Lanka was awarded the National Productivity award, 2008 for the Medium Scale Manufacturing Sector.   The Award Ceremony was held in the presence of a distinguished gathering on 6^th October 2009 at the BMICH.  Tos Lanka is the only Electronics Manufacturing Company to be featured in the awards list. TOSLANKA ENTERING TO TELECOMMUNICATION INDUSTRY

A range of toroidal coils are being wounded and tested at Tos Lanka. These coils are being used widely in telecommunications. Currently Tos Lanka has a dedicated work force of 50 personnel to undertake this activity. These coils are being exported to the European market through a subcontracting arrangement with a major global partner.    

LED DISPLAY PANEL

Tos Lanka has commenced a new project on assembly of LED Display panel boards in collaboration with the Company’s Holding Facility, Tosslec Ltd. Japan.

JAPAN TRAINING PROGRAMME

Company has reactivated its continuous training programme at the Holding Company’s facilities in Japan. Under this programme the Company’s core technology personnel are given the opportunity of On the Job training in Manufacturing Processes & Quality Management Systems as well as exposure to Japanese work ethic.
